BATU PAHAT: A lesbian couple, who had been dating for two years, has taken their relationship to a new level by undergoing a traditional wedding ceremony.
Thomas, 29, and Apple, 27, both property brokers, subjected to the traditional Chinese tea ceremony at their home here at about 10 am yesterday.
It has been learned that Thomas had proposed to Apple about two months ago.
They had also set up a Facebook page as a Covenant of love.
However, two declined to when contacted.
Checks on Facebook fanpage revealed multiple messages are posted in Chinese with over 656 "wants".
A friend who is known as Wong Shally congratulated the newly-married couple and stated that it wished would be lucky enough to experience love as Apple and Thomas.
Another friend of Facebook, Winny Chin, said that it was an example to other couples here.
Thomas Apple and Facebook page also features a pre wedding shoot-photo album titled "the happiest lesbians" and many pictures of the wedding ceremony itself.
